Attack of the Vine Prerelease

Join us for one (or both!) of our Prerelease events for Attack of the Vine, with prizes for everyone!

Each player will receive a prerelease kit containing 6 booster packs, a promo card, a dice set and postcard.

Sealed Prerelease (Friday 17th July): you'll use your 6 booster packs to build a 40 card deck and then play in a fun 3-round tournament. Everyone will take home 1 extra booster pack, with 1 booster pack per player also going into a top-heavy prize pool.

Pack Rush Prerelease (Sunday 19th July): you'll use your 6 booster packs to play 3 rounds of Pack Rush in a super-casual tournament aimed at families and children, as well as adults. Everyone will take home 2 extra booster packs at the end too!

Sunday Morning Lorcana

Bring along your favourite Infinity Decks for some multiplayer fun and earn Prize Points as you play!

Prize Points can be spent on prizes from our prize cabinet, including pin badges, spinners, promo cards, accessories, single cards and sealed product!

Each season starts after the prerelease of one set and runs until the prerelease of the next set, so you've got loads of time to earn Prize Points!

This is our most casual Lorcana event series and is the most suitable option for family groups with children of all ages, and anyone looking for a really casual multiplayer (3-4 players) gaming environment.

Time: Sundays, 10am to midday

Join us on Friday nights for casual tournaments and special events!

Draft Tournament:
Each player will start with 4 booster packs, which they will draft in pods to build a deck for the casual 3-round tournament that follows.

Sealed Tournament:
Build a new deck from 6 booster packs, then test it out in a casual 3-round tournament.

Core Constructed Tournament:
Bring along a Core Constructed deck (i.e. using cards from set 5 onwards) to compete in a 3-round tournament for points and prizes!
Prize Pool: Top-heavy, formed from 1.5 booster packs per participant (with all players receiving at least 1 booster pack).

Infinity Constructed Tournament:
Bring along your favourite Infinity Constructed deck (i.e. using cards from any sets) to compete in a 3-round tournament for points and prizes!
Prize Pool: Top-heavy, formed from 1.5 booster packs per participant (with all players receiving at least 1 booster pack).
Bonus Participation Prize: A Whole New World promo card (players must participate fully in all 3 rounds to qualify).

Poorcana Tournament:
Build a Poorcana deck (an Infinity Constructed deck containing only cards that have been printed as common or uncommon) to compete in a 3-round tournament for points and prizes!
Prize Pool: Top-heavy, formed from 1.5 booster packs per participant (with all players receiving at least 1 booster pack).

3-Colour Theme Deck Tournament:
Build a theme deck using up to 3 different ink colours. All cards in a Theme deck must be from the same film franchise (e.g. Frozen & Frozen 2). We'll play a 3-round tournament to compete for points and prizes!
Prize Pool: Top-heavy, formed from 1.5 booster packs per participant (with all players receiving at least 1 booster pack).

Casual:
Spend the evening chilling out and playing some casual games of Lorcana. Everyone will get 10 League points just for attending!

Tournament Prize points:
4 points for attendance
2 points per match win
1 point per match draw

All tournaments will start promptly at the advertised event time. Players arriving late may miss the first round. Players arriving after the advertised event time for a Draft event will be unable to participate.

A Farewell to Tenth

End-of-Edition league

Bring along your favourite 2000 point army and play 2 rounds of games as we say farewell to 10th Edition Warhammer 40,000. Players should expect to play a game roughly every 2 weeks. Check out the tournament pack for the full league structure.

Can I change my army?
Army lists are fixed within each round, but we expect lots of players to adjust their army lists after round 1. Players who find themselves in the lower divisions in round 2 are likely to adjust their armies with more of their favourite units, while players in the upper division are likely to refine their army to maximise performance.

Does my army have to be painted?
No - just prime all unpainted miniatures in the same colour and you're good to go. There are prizes on offer for the best-painted army, so we hope that most players will work towards a fully painted army at the end of the league, but this is not compulsory.

How long is the league?
Approximately 12 weeks. We don't know exactly when the new edition will arrive, but it's release will herald the end of our league! The final will take place on the evening before the release of the new edition, so players are encouraged to get their Round 2 games in quickly.

Finals
The League Finals will take place on the evening before the launch of the 11th Edition boxset. The top 2 players from each Division will play-off to see who secures 1st place, while all other players are invited to join in with some fun (and possible silly!) 1000 point games hosted by MaD Wargaming. We'll hand out loads of prizes throughout the evening, then crack open the new boxset at midnight!

This league is open to players of all ages who can play Warhammer 40,000 independently, and we are excited about the prospect of junior players getting involved. Casual 2000 Point Tournament

Saturday 16th May

Spend the day playing 2000 point Warhammer 40,000 games in a relaxed and friendly environment! This event requires minimal preparation and you will not need a competitive list to place well - just bring your favourite units and have fun!

Players will score points across 4 categories: game wins, sportsmanship, miniature painting and army theme (the last 3 will be voted on by all players), giving a total combined score for the final standings.

Relaxed Painting Requirement: fully painted armies are not required for this event. Any unpainted miniatures must be primed in the same colour.

Getting Involved

This is a casual club, with no minimum painting requirement. We'll have scenery sets and gaming resources available for players to use.

Games are typically played at 1000-2000 points, so please bring an army of at least 1000 points.

Our big Age of Sigmar event series for the first half of 2026 is our Masters of the Mortal Realms League!
If you'd like to play more Age of Sigmar then this league is the place to be. You'll build at 1500 point army and play a game roughly every 2 weeks.

One Piece Events

One Piece is back!!!

We're meeting on Sunday mornings for Pirate Battles and working to build a friendly and welcome casual play community. Our initial events will focus on helping new players get started, so both veterans and beginners are encouraged to come down and join in!

Prize Cabinet: We've built a prize cabinet crammed full of exciting prizes! You'll earn points each week that you can spend on incredible cards, booster packs and promo cards/packs.

All ages are welcome, but parental supervision is required for under-16s.

Free booster pack! Until the end of June, everyone will take home a free OP-15 or EB-03 booster pack at each session!

The All New Board Game Night

We've used our 2026 Survey data to create a new Board Game Night experience!

You'll find more of the games that you want to play, as well as dedicated teaching sessions so that everyone can learn the games they want to play.

4 Different Sessions

Teaching: These sessions are aimed at players who don't know how to play the game. They'll be run by a community volunteer or a member of staff, who will start the session by teaching the game. These games tend to be fairly heavy, so expect a fairly long teach!

Unguided: This is usually repeat of the Teaching game, but running 2 weeks later. These sessions are aimed at players who already know how to play the game (or learned to play at the Teaching session 2 weeks earlier). There won't be anyone teaching these games, so do not sign up to these sessions unless you already know how to play.

Guided: These sessions are run by a community volunteer or member of staff, who will teach the game as you play. These games will always be ones that are quick and easy to teach, so they're accessible to everyone (regardless of whether you have played before or not). These games don't generally last all evening, so we'll either play a few rounds or get some other games out later in the evening.

Advanced: If you love learning lots of big games then our advanced sessions are for you! Dungeons & Dragons

Dive into a single-session one-shot D&D adventure!

We have a group of experienced DM's running one-shot adventures each month. These are ideal for players who are comfortable with 5th edition Dungeons & Dragon (either the 2024 or pre-2024 edition).

Please note that our D&D one-shots require a good working knowledge of 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons and are only appropriate for experienced players.

Characters:

Players must bring a pre-prepared level 5 character generated from the Player's Handbook only (you may use either the 2024 PHB or the pre-2024 PHB).
Character ability scores must be generated using either the Standard Array or Point-Buy system.
Players must be familiar with their character, their abilities and their spells.
Players must present a printed copy of a fully completed character sheet on arrival. Character sheets must include abilities, skills, feats, spells, languages and equipment (players are encouraged to add appropriate equipment for a level 5 character, which they can check with the DM before the game starts). Character sheets do not have to include a full character background. You may email us a character sheet for us to print, but please do so at least 2 hours before the start of the session.
Players who do not bring a character sheet or present an incomplete character sheet will be unable to participate in the session. This is to ensure that all players are able to enjoy a fun and engaging session with other players who are able to fully participate in the game.

Ravenloft Encounters Celebration:

Wizards of the Coast are sending us some special Ravenloft-themed encounters to run as part of the launch celebration for Ravenloft: Horrors Within. We don't have a huge amount of information about these right now, but expect to some fun adventures with a slightly darker tone. Please bring a level 5 character as usual.

Warhammer Fantasy RPG

A Warhammer Fantasy role-playing game set in The Old World.

The GM will bring pregenerated characters for everyone. New players are very welcome and can learn as they play.

Pitch Black Prerelease

Celebrate the launch of Pokémon: Pitch Black at one of our 4 Prerelease Events!

Each participant will receive a Pitch Black Build & Battle box containing a prebuilt deck and 4 booster packs which you can use to upgrade your deck. Then we'll all play a casual 3-round tournament to test out our new decks, after which everyone will take home an extra 3 booster packs!

Bonus Prizes: all participants attending multiple events will receive a bonus booster pack at each event!

What do I need?

You don't need to bring anything along (although a playmat, damage counters and coin never hurt!).

All participants must be able to play the Pokémon TCG independently. If you need to learn how to play then book on to one of our learn-to-play sessions.

Pokémon League Cup

Join us for our highest level competitive Pokémon tournament. Open to all ages, with separate tournaments running for Junior, Senior and Masters categories.

This will be a Swiss tournament. We anticipate a cut to top 8 for the Masters tournament if fully attended.

All participants will earn at least 1 Play! point for taking part, with additional points being awarded to players who place higher in the tournament (up to 50 points for 1st place).

Restrictions

Pokémon Club is intended as a space for children to play the Pokémon TCG. We ask that children do not bring games consoles to Pokémon Club, and that spaces are only booked for children who wish to participate in Pokémon TCG activities.

Trading is a core part of the Pokémon TCG hobby. Pokémon Club attendees are welcome to trade Pokémon cards in the final 30 minutes of Pokémon Club (excluding tournaments).

Pokémon Masters League

Masters and Seniors can join us at our Monday night Pokémon Masters League, where we will run a 3-round sanctioned tournament (unless another event is listed for that evening).

Players will earn points for the games that they win (plus a bonus point for playing in the event), which can be spent on the incredible prizes in our prize cabinet! Points will reset every 4 weeks, at which point we'll add a host of new prizes to the cabinet!

Set Legality:
Players must play with a Standard-legal deck, with the following exception:
Cards from new sets may be used from the Official Release Date of that set onwards (and at Celebration Tournaments for that set). Note that this only applies to Masters League sessions, not to League Challenges or League Cups (standard legality rules will apply to these events).

Casual Play

On League Challenge weeks players who do not wish to take part in the League Challenge are welcome to join us for casual play. There will not be a tournament and players will not earn points for the prize cabinet. This is a great week for trading or testing out new decks.

The Strixhaven Treasure Cup

The 5 Colleges of Strixhaven are competing in The Treasure Cup!
The winning College will claim a literal Treasure Trove crammed full of booster packs from across the Planes...

Which College will you represent?

Week 1: Prerelease
All players at our Monday Night Prerelease event on 20th April will represent the College indicated by their Prerelease Kit. Players will score points for their College: 3 points for a win, 2 points for a draw and 1 point for a loss. For every player at this Prerelease Event we will add one Secrets of Strixhaven booster pack to the Treasure Trove!

Weeks 2 to 5: Commander
Pick a Secrets of Strixhaven Commander deck and represent the College of your chosen deck! 2 games will be played each week in pods of 3 or 4, with players scoring points for their College in each game: 5/3/2/2 points for 4-player games and 4/3/2 points for 3-player games.
Players may change deck (and hence College) from one week to another, but must play the same deck for each game in a week.
Decks may not be modified (other than changing which card in the deck is their Commander, where relevant).

Weeks 6 to 9: Open the Archive Draft
Play a Secrets of Strixhaven draft with the Open the Archive Emblem in play, allowing easier access to powerful Mystical Archive cards. Players will score points for their College: 3 points for a win, 2 points for a draw and 1 point for a loss.
After building your deck you must declare which College you are representing. Your deck must contain a least 1 land for each land type in the colour identity of your chosen College (but may contain other land types).

Treasure
In weeks 2 to 9, a booster pack will be added the Treasure Trove for every 3 players at the event. A different type of booster pack will be added each week.

Challenge Coins
The winning player at each Open the Archive Draft will receive a Challenger Coin blind pack.

Winners
At the end of week 9 the total scores will be added up to determine which College has won the Treasure Cup. The winning College will claim the Treasure Trove. Every player who has scored at least 10 points for the winning College will be allowed to claim prizes from the Treasure Trove, with the player with the most points picking first.

Prize Cabinet
There will also be a Prize Cabinet for this event series, including Secrets of Strixhaven Collector boosters, Play boosters and Promo packs.

Family Friendly
In order support family groups at this event series we are offering substantial discount on the Prerelease event and Commander deck purchase. Under-18 players may purchase their Commander deck for £36.99 (includes entry into the event). Note that under-16s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Brawl for the Nine Realms

Heroes and Villains battle across the Nine Realms!

We'll build and develop Brawl decks throughout this event series, which we'll use in both Multiplayer and 1v1 games as we battle for control of each of the Nine Realms! To the victor(s) will go the spoils, as well as the choice of which realm will be our next destination.

New Players: These events are great for new players who have only recently started playing Magic: The Gathering and want to explore a brand new set. We have a really supportive community of players who are excited about helping new players learn. So long as you've played a few games you should find these events accessible.

What is Brawl?

A 60 card deck
A singleton deck (all cards in the deck must be different)
All cards must be standard-legal (but may include cards from the Marvel Super Heroes Commander decks)
The deck's Commander must be a Legendary Hero or Legendary Villain creature from the Marvel Super Heroes set or the Marvel Spider-Man set

Schedule

Week 1: Prerelease
Our Monday Night Marvel Super Heroes Prerelease event will be our first battle for the Nine Realms. It will be set on Midgard (Earth) and as such all Human creatures will enter play with an additional +1/+1 counter on them.

Weeks 2 to 5: Multiplayer
We will play 4 weeks of multiplayers games using our brawl decks. Players will play 2 games each week and score 5/3/2/2 points for 4-player games and 4/3/2 points for 3-player games.

Weeks 6 to 8: 1v1
We will play 4 weeks of 1v1 games using our brawl decks culminating in The Final Battle. Players will play 3 games each week a score 3 points for a win, 2 points for a draw and 1 point for a loss.

Week 9: The Final Battle
The final week of our Brawl for the Nine Realms will be a higher stakes 1v1 tournament, with a Collector booster up for grabs as the top prize.

Prizes

The winning player(s) will determine which of the Nine Realms we will be fighting over the following week (and hence the bonus that will be in play).
Each week's winner(s) will claim a Marvel Super Heroes Play booster pack.
In The Final Battle, the top prize will be upgraded to a Collector booster for the highest ranked player.
Prize Cabinet: all players will be able to spend their points on rewards from our Prize Cabinet.

We'll play our first game in pods of 3 or 4, before cutting to the top players from each pod for a final playoff.

Pair up for these 2-vs-2 Commander Nights! Players can sign up together or turn up on the night to find a partner. We'll run an introduction to Two-Headed Giant for any players who've never played before.
